Kathy Bates als Mutter, Sam Rockwell als luscher, aber grossherziger Anwalt und Paul Walter Hauser als blauäugiger Titelheld sind ideal besetzt. Aber dass eine weibliche Reporterin (Olivia Wilde) mal wieder dem Klischee «Sex gegen Informationen» entsprechen muss – du meine Güte!
